Inspiring the artists in Schools, Colleges and Extended Services
Pedagogy
believes that:-
- Every young person has the potential for great creative and artistic expression both in and out of school
- Inspiring professional artists should play an integral part in the creative and artistic lives of both young people and the adults who work with them
- Adults working with young people have the important responsibility of nurturing creativity and artistic expression
- Both young people and adults are engaged in ongoing creative and artistic learning journeys, which need thoughtful and creative interventions and professional development
- Schools, colleges and extended services settings should be creative and inspiring environments for young people to explore
Experience
artists have vast experience of working in schools and colleges from Foundation Stage through to Post 16. They have been involved in GCSE, A Level, BTec National Diplomas, Arts Awards and Instrumental teaching. As both artists and arts educators, they have initiated, co-ordinated, delivered and evaluated a range of exciting artistic interventions from one-off workshops, extended units of work and action research projects to on-going curriculum support and training.
